Pre-Opening Kansas City Wheat Market Report 01/09

Wheat markets are trading slightly higher this morning with modest weakness in corn and soybeans. The US Dollar is higher to start the day as the Yen weakens. The Euro is also seeing modest losses which has helped to push the Dollar higher. US equities are set to open up slightly higher after Alcoa's earnings fell in line with the street's estimates and revenues beat. The March French Matif contract is up.50 Euros per tonne.
