Parkland Energy Shares Lifted After Net Loss Shrink in Q3

Parkland Energy Services Inc. (PKE.V) is now higher by almost 5% but is trading just 2 cents above year low 9 cents after announcing its business performance for the third quarter of 2011.

The company said that during the quarter, its net loss was $208,765, down sharply from the previous year's $1.03 million. This was after revenues surged to $3.5 million from last year's $860,952. President and CEO Sandra Woitas reportedly commented "Revenues and earnings have been meeting expectations due to the increase in demand for our product, repeat customers and the aggressive streamlining of operations."
