Old Mutual prevents sacked Moyo from returning to work, will file appeal
JOHANNESBURG, Sept 9 (Reuters) - South African insurer Old Mutual OMUJ.J said on Monday it will not allow sacked chief executive Peter Moyo to return to his duties because a second notice of termination given on Aug. 21 stands and the company would continue to fight his attempts to get reinstated.
Moyo turned up for work on Monday morning but was again prevented from resuming his duties despite a court ruling last week that dismissed the insurer's attempt to block his temporary reinstatement.
