Oil - Turkey has reopened Istanbul's Bosphorus Strait to transiting tankers

The Bosphorus was closed to shipping for several hours in the wake of the coup attempt

  • The Bosphorus Strait is a key chokepoint for maritime transit of oil
  • About 3% of global supply, mainly from Russia and the Caspian Sea passes through
