NovaGold Off 3% Despite Announcing High-Grade Intersections at Bornite Deposit

NovaGold Resources Inc. (NG.TO) shares, which started today lower at $9.32, pared earlier losses and are now off by only 3% at $9.43 compared to yesterday's $9.76 close. This was even after the company announced today significant new drill results from additional exploration drilling on the Bornite target, which complement major intersections achieved in the initial phase of drilling at Bornite.

The company said in addition to successful confirmation of historic drilling, exploration drilling to the northeast of the Bornite deposit encountered significant mineralization in a new area identified as the South Reef.
