Notable option trades in equities

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with unusual option activity on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Taiwan Semiconductor (TSM): An investor rolled 10,000 April 22 puts to the April 24s, for a net cost of $0.74. The move let him or her raise the price at which they're protected against a drop. TSM rose 1.29 percent to $24.02.

Liberty Global (LBTYA): Almost 7,000 March 45 puts were bought, mostly for $1.55, as traders brace for a pullback. LBTYA rose 0.53 percent to $47.02. (Full story here )

Salesforce.com (CRM): More than 4,000 Weekly 60 calls expiring on Jan. 30 were bought, most of which priced $0.35 to $0.40, as traders look for a quick rally in the cloud-software stock. CRM rose 1.45 percent to $58.84.
