Notable option trades in equities
Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with unusual option activity on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.
Scientific Games (SGMS): More than 5,000 January 10 calls were bought, most of which priced for $2.25, as investors looked for upside in the share price. SGMS rose 2.02 percent to $10.10.
American Tower (AMT): Some 3,300 weekly 98 puts were bought for $0.30 to $0.50 as investors braced against a near-term drop in the share price. AMT fell 0.42 percent to $99.36.
Nuance Communications (NUAN): Some 5,000 January 18 calls were bought, mostly for $1, as investors positioned for the stock to rebound from its recent drop. NUAN rose 1.66 percent to $17.14.
