
Notable option activity in equity names
Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with unusual option activity on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.
GlaxoSmithKline (GSK): A trader sold 8,000 March 43 calls sold for $0.65, betting upside will be limited in the British drug maker. GSK rose 2.42 percent to $41.89. (See full story )
SPDR Consumer Staples Fund (XLP): Some 7,600 June 54 calls were bought for $0.50 as traders looked for upside in the sector. XLP fell 0.60 percent to $49.98.
Accenture (ACN): About 3,300 March 100 puts were bought for $2.35 to $2.80 as investors guarded against a drop in the IT giant. ACN fell 2.13 percent to $101.61.
