Notable option activity in equities

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with unusual option activity on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Post (POST): A trader bought 5,000 December 65 calls for $2.50 and sold 10,000 December 70 calls for $1.10. The trade was likely a ratio spread with the potential to earn more than 1,500 percent from a move to $70 by expiration. Gains would erode above that level. POST rose 0.45 percent to $60.77.

Regions Financial (RF): About 7,400 November 10 calls were bought for $0.14 to $0.17 as investors looked for a near-term rally in the Alabama-based lender. RF rose 1.63 percent to $9.97.

Deutsche Bank (DB): About 8,000 November 25 puts were sold for $0.15. Volume was below open interest at the strike, so an existing position may have been closed ahead of expiration on Friday. DB rose 0.08 percent to $25.62.
