Notable option activity in equities

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with unusual option activity on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

ICICI Bank (IBN): Almost 5,300 October 9 calls were bought for $0.15 to $0.25 as investors positioned for upside in the Indian lender. IBN rose 3.86 percent to $9.14.

Zynga (ZNGA): An investor bought 5,300 of the Weekly 2.50 calls expiring on Nov. 6 for 0.10 to $0.11, looking for the developer of social-media games to rally. ZNGA rose 2.54 percent to $2.42.

Market Vectors Semiconductor Fund (SMH): About 22,000 November 47 puts were sold for $0.70 to $0.80. Volume was below open interest, so traders may have unwound an existing position. SMH rose 1.75 percent to $51.21.
