Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with unusual option activity on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.
FXCM (FXCM): Traders sold 11,300 August 2 calls, mostly for $0.15, betting upside will be limited in the currency brokerage. FXCM fell 3.59 percent to $1.88.
Ciena (CIEN): Some 7,100 July 21 puts were sold for $1.47 to $1.50 but volume was below open interest at the strike. CIEN fell 1.28 percent to $20.81.
Turquoise Hill Resources (TRQ): Almost 9,000 January 4.50 calls were sold for $0.50 as investors looked to earn income on a long position in the gold miner. TRQ fell 0.46 percent to $4.37.
