Nordstrom Inc.JWN recently announced the opening of its relocated store at Del Amo Fashion Center. This store was previously situated at South Bay Galleria.
Spanning over 138,000 square feet, the two-storied relocated store has been designed with the latest concepts. It includes a larger cosmetics and accessories' section, a full-service restaurant and bar, five footwear departments and new clothing sections, which offer apparel from various renowned brands for men, women and kids.
Apart from clothes, customers can get footwear and other accessories belonging to brands like Kate Spade & Company KATE , Tory Burch and Rebecca Minkoff, among others. The beauty section incorporates products from brands like NARS, Hourglass, Sisley, Bobbi Brown, Jo Malone, Tom Ford Fragrance, and many more.
Additionally, the new store flaunts TOPSHOP, TOPMAN and via C departments. These include designer collections from Elizabeth and James, A.L.C., Rag & Bone, Alexander Wang, Current Elliott and Frame Denim.
Well, this is not where it ends. The store, which opened its doors on Oct 9, offers various other services which are likely to enhance customer experience and draw greater traffic. Some of these include Personal Stylists, in-house tailoring and alteration, free Wi-Fi and charging stations. Finally, the Del Amo Fashion Center Nordstrom houses two eating joints, including Bazille and the Ebar, which will further enhance customer shopping experience.
The opening commenced with a Beauty Bash held just outside the store's first floor entrance. At the bash, customers got a sneak peek at new products and trends from top beauty brands, and received makeup tips from Nordstrom's beauty and fragrance experts. Further, the first customers to walk through the doors enjoyed a warm welcome from over 500 employees.
Nordstrom's focus on store expansion is evident from the series of Rack store openings since the beginning of fiscal 2014. Its constant store openings highlight the company's commitment toward strengthening its network with an aim to drive top-line growth. The company also remains on track with its store expansion plans in Canada, where it opened its third Canadian and first international flagship store in Vancouver, British Columbia, last month.
Currently, this Zacks Rank #3 (Hold) company operates 316 outlets across 38 U.S. states and Canada. These include 120 full-line stores in the U.S. and Canada; 2 Jeffrey boutiques; 188 Nordstrom Racks and 1 clearance store. Moreover, the company owns Trunk Club and operates online as well.
