Newstrike Capital Inc. (NES.V) is back near its high for the session, climbing more than 5% at $3.10 a share after saying that drilling at its Ana Paula project in Mexico intersected a 119.60-meter interval grading 3.76 grams gold per ton of ore. Other notable intercepts include an 88.8-metre interval of 2.58 grams per ton and 65.8 meters of 1.19 grams gold per ton.

Newstrike management said results from the latest series of drilling confirm the robust nature of the mineralization at the Ana Paula project, with the potential for new discovery as demonstrated by the high-grade breccia as well as from lower-grade bulk mineable materials.
