Netflix is Looking Strong
Netflix has answered some very big questions over the last few years. Just as Facebook has definitively and hugely profitably answered the question of whether it could monetize mobile advertising, so to has Netflix answered its own doubts. The big worry about Netflix a few years ago was whether its move into original programming could pay off. Four years later, it has had a string of huge hits (e.g. House of Cards or Stranger Things) and debuted 112 new shows last year. Its subscriber base has grown massively and its stock price has risen well over 500%.
