The Nasdaq's Sustainability Series provides a forum for organizations working on issues centered on sustainability, corporate responsibility, diversity and volunteerism. In a recent episode, The Bowery Mission was the guest at the Nasdaq MarketSite. This organization has been serving the homeless and hungry since 1879. They have created a partnership with the New York City Rescue Mission . Both groups assist New York City's men and women who find themselves homeless or in need of food.

The panel for this show's conversation included:

  • Dave Jones, President & CEO (The Bowery Mission)
  • Craig Mayes, former CEO of New York City Rescue Mission and the Chief of Staff (The Bowery Mission)

  • Dave Jones of the Bowery Mission gave a background on the reasons why his organization joined forces with the New York City Rescue Mission.
  • Jones and Chris Mayes outlined the two organization's goals for the partnership.
