In early trading on Thursday, shares of Yahoo! ( YHOO ) topped the list of the day's best performing components of the Nasdaq 100 index, trading up 7.9%. Year to date, Yahoo! registers a 41.0% gain.
And the worst performing Nasdaq 100 component thus far on the day is Symantec ( SYMC ), trading down 3.0%. Symantec is showing a gain of 22.9% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Charter Communications ( CHTR ), trading down 2.6%, and JD.com ( JD ), trading up 4.4% on the day.
