In early trading on Friday, shares of Walt Disney topped the list of the day's best performing components of the Nasdaq 100 index, trading up 9.9%. Year to date, Walt Disney registers a 16.9% gain.
And the worst performing Nasdaq 100 component thus far on the day is Netflix, trading down 3.4%. Netflix is showing a gain of 32.7% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Monster Beverage, trading down 1.6%, and Check Point Software Technologies, trading up 4.3% on the day.
