In early trading on Thursday, shares of Tesla (TSLA) topped the list of the day's best performing components of the Nasdaq 100 index, trading up 3.0%. Year to date, Tesla has lost about 40.4% of its value.
And the worst performing Nasdaq 100 component thus far on the day is NetApp (NTAP), trading down 12.2%. NetApp is lower by about 1.3% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Ctrip.com International (CTRP), trading down 6.7%, and Synopsys (SNPS), trading up 1.4% on the day.
