December natural gas opened weaker in the electronic session Sunday night and in the process established a new seven day price low. However, prices managed to subsequently climb higher as they garnered some support from higher crude-complex prices. The latest data from Baker Hughes showed the number of natural gas drilling rigs remained unchanged at 955.
