Morgan Stanley Is NOT Moving 2,000 Jobs Out of London

Morgan Stanley ( MS ) is not moving 2,000 jobs out of London after the Brexit vote.

Morgan Stanley said that there will be at least two years before the Brexit occurs and that this will give it time to determine what to do with its business . The financial holding company was prepared for the vote and had plenty of employees on staff to help customers after the results were announced.

News that Morgan Stanley was moving jobs out of London came from a BBC news report. The news source claimed that the jobs were being moved to Dublin or Frankfurt. The Brexit vote occurred yesterday and voters decided to leave the European Union, reports Bloomberg.

"The BBC story is completely false," a spokesman for Morgan Stanley told Mirror .

MS shares were down 9% as of Noon Friday.
