In trading on Monday, the SPDR S&P Regional Banking ETF ( KRE ) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 1.1% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Pacwest Bancorp ( PACW ), up about 2.8% and shares of Hanmi Financial ( HAFC ), up about 2.4% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the SPDR S&P Biotech ETF ( XBI ), down about 1.9% in Monday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Monday were shares of Puma Biotechnology ( PBYI ), lower by about 21.2%, and shares of Clovis Oncology (CLVS), lower by about 9.5% on the day.
