In trading on Monday, the First Trust NYSE Arca Biotechnology Index Fund ETF ( FBT ) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 1.8% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Intercept Pharmaceuticals ( ICPT ), up about 6.7% and shares of Ionis Pharmaceuticals ( IONS ), up about 5.1% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the Oil Services ETF ( OIH ), off about 2.2% in Monday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Monday were shares of Ensco ( ESV ), lower by about 7.3%, and shares of U.S. Silica Holdings (SLCA), lower by about 5.9% on the day.
