One ETF closely tracking Materials stocks is the Materials Select Sector SPDR ETF ( XLB ), which is flat on the day in midday trading, and up 1.31% on a year-to-date basis. Newell Brands Inc, meanwhile, is down 6.86% year-to-date, and Ecolab Inc is up 1.84% year-to-date. ECL makes up approximately 4.8% of the underlying holdings of XLB.
