Monday Sector Leaders: Financial, Technology & Communications

The best performing sector as of midday Monday is the Financial sector, up 0.7%. Within that group, GGP Inc (Symbol: GGP) and Macerich Co. (Symbol: MAC) are two large stocks leading the way, showing a gain of 3.6% and 3.1%, respectively. Among financial ETFs , one ETF following the sector is the Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF (Symbol: XLF), which is up 1.0% on the day, and up 2.62% year-to-date. GGP Inc, meanwhile, is down 9.49% year-to-date, and Macerich Co. , is down 8.15% year-to-date.
