In trading on Monday, reits shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 0.5%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Associated Estates Realty ( AEC ), off about 2.9% and shares of Gramercy Property Trust ( GPT ) down about 2.6% on the day.
Also lagging the market Monday are food shares, down on the day by about 0.2% as a group, led down by Pilgrims Pride ( PPC ), trading lower by about 6.2% and Keurig Green Mountain ( GMCR ), trading lower by about 6.1%.
