In trading on Monday, electric utilities shares were relative laggards, up on the day by about 0.1%. Helping drag down the group were shares of ForceField Energy ( FNRG ), off about 5.2% and shares of Vectren Corp ( VVC ) off about 2.3% on the day.
Also lagging the market Monday are gas utilities shares, up on the day by about 0.5% as a group, led down by Transportadora de Gas del Sur ( TGS ), trading lower by about 1.8% and Star Gas Partners ( SGU ), trading lower by about 0.6%.
