Bargain hunters are wise to pay careful attention to insider buying, because although there are many various reasons for an insider to sell a stock, presumably the only reason they would use their hard-earned dollars to make a purchase, is that they expect to make money. Today we look at two noteworthy recent insider buys.
At Visteon Corp ( VC ), a filing with the SEC revealed that on Wednesday, Director Harry James Wilson purchased 2,500 shares of VC, at a cost of $116.71 each, for a total investment of $291,775. Visteon Corp is trading off about 0.3% on the day Monday.
And at Six Flags Entertainment Corp ( SIX ), there was insider buying on Wednesday, by Director Richard Roedel who purchased 3,974 shares for a cost of $62.85 each, for a trade totaling $249,767. Six Flags Entertainment Corp is trading up about 0.7% on the day Monday. So far Roedel is in the green, up about 4.2% on their buy based on today's trading high of $65.46.
