Midway Gold Lower in TSX, U.S. As Deepens 6-Month Loss

Midway Gold Corp. (MDW.V) went down by nearly 1% to $2.19 on the Toronto Stock Exchange and was also lower in the United States at US$2.23 after announcing that its consolidated net loss from operations for the 6-month period ended June 30, 2011 was $6 million or $0.06 per share compared to $2.2 million or $0.03 per share for the same period in 2010. The company said the increase was due to its increased exploration efforts.
