Mexico annual inflation rate was 3.16 pct in August

Mexican consumer prices rose 3.16 percent in the year through August, the national statistics agency said on Monday.

MEXICO CITY, Sept 9 (Reuters) - Mexican consumer prices rose 3.16 percent in the year through August, the national statistics agency said on Monday.

Consumer prices fell 0.02 percent in August, according to non-seasonally adjusted figures.
