Medley Capital ( MCC ) shares were higher 2% on Friday after the non-diversified closed-end management investment company reported fiscal Q1 total investment income of $26.1 million, down from $34.4 million but ahead of the $25.8 million consensus estimate.
MCC was at $7.99 recently, having earlier traded as high as $8.05, a penny short of the $8.06 52-week high. The 52-week low is at $5.26.
Net investment income in the quarter ended Dec. 31 fell to $0.19 per share from $0.28, shy of the $0.20 average estimate from analysts polled by Capital IQ.
