Mawson Resources, Tournigan Energy Swap Uranium Exploration Sites for $4.8M in Stock

Mawson Resources Ltd (MAW.TO) is up a penny at $1.53 a share in very light volume this morning with the miner announcing a deal with Tournigan Energy Ltd. (TVC.V), trading seven of its uranium exploration projects in Sweden and Finland for a 20.5% stake of Tournigan stock.

With Tournigan shares today fetching 9 cents each, up 0.5 cents, Mawson's interest in the firm is worth about $4.8 million, based on its acquisition of 53.64 million Tournigan shares. The deal, meanwhile, extends Tournigan's reach beyond its initial exploration work in eastern Slovakia.
