Mart Resources Continues Upward March, Hits New Yr Highs Today on Heavy Trade, But No Fresh News

Mart Resources (MMT.V) - which has been on an upward trend and has more than doubled since it was near year lows in early October - is up 12% and has hit a new year high of 85 cents today with more than 4.2 million shares traded, which is more than eight times the average trading volume of around 475,000 for the last 30 days. It is trading above a 20-day SMA of 64 cents, 50-day SMA of 56 cents and 100-day SMA of 53 cents.

There doesn't appear to be any specific news around that would move the stocks. MMT announced late November its interim financial and operating results for the three and nine month periods ended September 30, 2011.
