Markets Will Fall if Vanguard is Any Indication

Why Mueller Will Slow Down Washington

(New York)

Vanguard has a very unfortunate part of what is otherwise a bright history-whenever it gets a new CEO, the market promptly collapses. Well, the company just announced a new CEO. Even the outgoing CEO, Steve McNabb, is warning on markets, saying they look frothy and that a good-sized correction could be coming. Vanguard has been dominant in recent years and is nearing taking the industry AUM crown away from BlackRock on the strength of its low-cost ETF offerings. Commenting on markets, McNabb said "That's never an easy thing for investors to navigate, lower returns and higher volatility", continuing "We haven't seen it yet, but when we do, it'll be troubling. But it's not the end of the world as we know it".

FINSUM : This is not an indicator in its self, but there are definitely reasons to be worried about valuations at the moment.
