7:38 a.m. It's a summer Monday...and it sure feels like it. It's not that there isn't anything happening Monday morning. There's a new CEO at PepsiCo (PEP), Warren Buffett'sBerkshire Hathaway (BRK.B) reported earnings over the weekend -with plenty more companies announcing today - China said it won't back down on trade, and JPMorgan Chase (JPM) CEO warned of 5% yields on the 10-year Treasury. It just hasn't added it up to much.
S&P 500 futures are little changed, while Dow Jones Industrial Average futures have ticked up 16 points, or 0.1%. Nasdaq Composite futures have advanced 0.1%.
