Lydian International Ltd. (LYD.TO) is off its best levels of the session but remains ahead nearly 5% this afternoon after gold explorer said drilling at its Amulsar gold project in Armenia will likely expand resource estimates for the prospective mine property.

Current estimates suggest about 2.5 ounces of combined indicated and inferred gold resource at Amulsar. The new drilling yielded grades of between 1.0 grams to 2.0 grams per ton of ore, including a 156-metre interval of 1.7 grams per ton.
