Lundin Mining Loses Eight Cents In Morning Trade, But Picking Up Slightly

Lundin Mining Corp (LUN.TO), which has had a rollercoaster week because of falling metals prices, is picking up slightly in morning trade. Close to 3 million shares have changed hands.

The stock opened at $3.72, nine cents higher than its previous close of $3.62, and is now trading at $3.65.

CEO Paul Conibear said on Monday that Lundin will enter 2012 well positioned to continue to increase output with a good balance sheet, several internal optimization opportunities and a strong exploration focus.
