Nasdaq International Investor Program Overview

For the past 20 years, Nasdaq’s International Investor Programs have been the largest U.S. equities institutional investor programs in Europe. These events have the highest number of participants, largest total market cap of companies, and top-level caliber of global investors. Because the event targets 100% of the market (the buy- and sell-side), a neutral platform is provided for companies to showcase their growth and gain access to top European institutional investors. Over the years, every influential European institution has been in attendance to these events.

June 16 Program Highlights

To kick off the event, Nasdaq hosted an exclusive dinner the night before at The London Film Museum’s “Bond in Motion” exhibition. Forty C-level company presenters and representatives were in attendance. Guests had the opportunity to network surrounded by an array of James Bond vehicles and memorabilia that have featured in the renowned film series.

  • Each company in attendance had on average 5 meetings with 8 investors
  • 185 investors represented 117 institutions managing total assets of approximately $8 trillion
  • 10 companies are listed in the Nasdaq-100 Index

The Companies

The one-day program brought together 28 companies with a total combined market cap exceeding $406 billion. Each company presented their story to Europe’s top institutional investors. Nasdaq-listed companies in attendance this year included names such as Cisco Systems, Intuit, and Vertex Pharmaceuticals. Companies also took advantage of the opportunity to host one-on-one meetings. Each company had on average five meetings with eight investors.

The Investors

185 investors from the European investor community were in attendance representing both the buy-side and the sell-side. A majority of the attendees were London-based; however, 16% of the attendees represented other cities such including Zurich, Paris, Edinburgh, New York, and Stockholm. These investors represented a total of 117 institutions managing total assets of approximately $8 trillion. Of these assets, $800 million is invested in US equities. We look forward to our next program, taking place in December 2016. Registration for this event is invitation only and first-come-first-serve. Nasdaq-listed companies must meet certain market cap requirements to participate. For more information, contact your Nasdaq Relationship Manager.
