Latin American Stocks are mostly higher today, supported by gains among financial stocks after Spain's second-largest bank by assets - Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, S.A. ( BBVA ) - sold about $2 billion of five-year notes for about 24 basis points less than comparible government notes, according to Fox Business News. Energy stocks also are moderately higher, offsetting declines for shares of mining companies.

- Ibovespa was up 616.32. Now up 542.5 points (+0.9%) to 63,093.
- IPC (Mexico City) was up 122.17. Now up 140 points (+0.3%) to 44,444.
- Santiago Index IPSA was up 7.21. Now up 5.87 (+0.2%) to 3,761.15.
- Merval Buenos Aires up 30.47 (+1%) to 2,983.3.
