Largest option trades in equities

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Gold Fields (GFI): Abought 5,000 September 4 in the money calls were purchased, mostly for $0.35, as investors look for upside in the gold miner. GFI rose 2.04 percent to $4.26.

Danaher (DHR): More than 12,700 January 75 calls were sold for $3.90. Volume was below open interest, which suggests an existing bullish position was closed. DHR fell 0.95 percent to $74.49.

Kraft Foods (KRFT): An investor bought about 4,200 August 60 puts for $4 and sold an equal number of September 60s for about the same price. He or she is apparently rolling an unprofitable short-put position, hoping for the shares to rebound from their recent slide. KRFT rose 0.02 percent to $56.03.
