Largest option trades in equities

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Anadarko Petroleum (APC): An investor bought 20,000 August 100 calls for $11 and sold an equal number of July 105 calls for $5.05. Known as a diagonal spread, the trade is looking for gradual appreciation in the share price. APC rose 0.49 percent to $110.26.

Sirius XM (SIRI): An investor sold 18,000 January 3.50 calls for $0.20. Volume was below open interest at the strike, which suggests an existing long positions may have been exited. SIRI rose 0.59 percent to $3.40.

Pfizer (PFE): An investor bought 121,000 September 31 calls for $0.46 and sold an equal number of September 32 calls for $0.19. The vertical spread cost $0.27 and will nearly triple if the drug maker closes at $32 or higher on expiration. PFE rose 0.86 percent to $30.67.
