Largest option trades in equities

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Avanir Pharmaceuticals (AVNR): An investor sold 10,000 June 5 calls for $0.60 and rolled their position into the January 6 calls, which he or she purchased for $1.425. The transaction reflects a belief the shares will climb over the remainder of 2014. AVNR rose 0.18 percent to $5.48.

PPG (PPG): An investor exited a winning position in 2,495 of the July 200 calls for $8.30 and bought 4,000 July 210s for $3.60. He or she is looking for the chemical stock to keep running. PPG fell 0.11 percent to $205.58.

Regions Financial (RF): An sold 3,500 Jun 11 calls for $0.06 and bought an equal number of July 12s for $0.05, looking for continued upside in the Alabama-based lender. RF fell 0.79 to $10.73.
