Largest option trades in equities

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

WisdomTree Japan Hedged Fund (DXJ): An investor bought 19,755 August 49.38 calls for $1.09 and sold an equal number of August 52.38 calls for $0.29. Known as a vertical spread, the trade cost $0.80 and will earn 275 percent if the fund closes at $52.38 or higher on expiration. DXJ fell 0.23 percent to $48.48.

MagicJack VocalTec (CALL): Some 6,100 January 25 calls were bought for $0.45 as investors look for the Internet-telephone stock to rally. CALL rose 0.92 percent to $14.31.

SPDR Energy fund (XLE): A block of 40,000 July 93 puts was bought for $1.18 as an investor braced for downside in the energy sector. XLE fell 0.01 percent to $95.18.
