Largest option trades in equities

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

EMC (EMC): More than 17,000 July 28 calls were bought, mostly for $0.15, as investors look for upside in the cloud-computing stock. EMC fell 0.75 percent to $26.57.

Steel Dynamics (STLD): Some 2,900 November 17 calls were bought, mostly for $1.30, as investors look for upside in the metal company. STLD rose 1.60 percent to $17.27.

Dollar General (DG): More than 5,000 weekly 53 puts expiring next Friday, June 6, were sold as investors look for the discount retailer to hold its ground. Most of them priced for $1.15. DG fell 0.93 percent to $53. (See related story )
