Largest option trades in equities

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Whiting Petroleum (WLL): Some 2,700 March 70 calls were purchased, mostly for $0.50 to $0.55, as investors look for a rally with earnings due after tomorrow's closing bell. WLL fell 0.92 percent to $63.75.

Fusion-IO (FIO): Some 11,000 June 10 calls were bought, mostly for $1.85 and $1.90, as investors look for upside in the share price. FIO rose 1.76 percent to $10.99.

Cablevision (CVC): Some 1,700 June 18 calls were purchased, mostly for $0.55, as traders got long before tomorrow morning's quarterly report. CVC rose 2.07 percent to $16.75.
