Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.
iShares iBoxx High-Yield Corporate Bond Fund (HYG): A block of 10,000 June 93 calls were bought for $1.60 as investors look for junk-bond prices to appreciate. HYG fell 0.08 percent to $94.47.
General Motors (GM): Some 10,000 January 30 calls traded, mostly for $2.54, but volume was below open interest at the strike. GM fell 1.47 percent to $28.77.
Constellation Brands (STZ): Some 20,000 April 47.50 calls were bought for $1.97 and an equal number of April 50 calls were sold for $0.70 as investors position for upside in the beverage stock. STZ rose 0.53 percent to $47.12.
Citigroup (C): Almost 11,000 Weekly 45.50 calls expiring next Friday were bought, mostly for $0.34, as investors brace for a short-term pullback in the financial giant. C fell 0.37 percent to $45.92.
