Research in Motion (RIMM): Investors purchased more than 6,000 January 12 puts, mostly for $0.61 and $0.62, positioning for downside in the share price. RIMM rose 0.51 percent to $13.70.
Focus Media (FMCN): Some 8,800 January 24 puts were bought for $0.40 to $0.50, looking for the Chinese media stock to fall. FMCN rose 0.71 percent to $25.70.
Altria Group (MO): Volume surged in the January 27 calls as investors looked to reap the tobacco stock's quarterly dividend. MO rose 0.40 percent to $32.52.
