Cigna (CI): Investors bought 3,000 January 43 calls for $1.16, looking for upside. CI fell 1.42 percent to $42.91.
Bank of America (BAC): Investors bought more than 11,000 January 2013 10 calls for $0.24 to $0.27, looking for shares to rally over the course of next year. BAC fell 2.55 percent to $5.34.
Gold Fields (GFI): An investor sold 6,000 April 14 puts for $0.76 and purchased 6,000 January 14 puts for $0.16, apparently rolling a short position in hope that shares will hold their ground. GFI fell 1.54 percent to $15.36.
