Largest option buying in equities so far

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Delta Air Lines (DAL): About 10,000 December 8 calls were bought for $0.74 as investors positioned for upside in the stock. DAL declined 0.94 percent to $8.44.

Yahoo (YHOO): About 13,000 December 18 calls were bought for $0.25 as investors looked for shares to rise. YHOO rose 0.31 percent to $16.28

Bank of America (BAC): More than 33,000 March 6 puts were bought for $0.88 to $0.90, a bet that the stock will head lower. BAC rose 3.80 percent to $5.74.

Chesapeake (CHK): An investor closed a short position in 5,000 January 30 puts for $5.05 and rolled it down to the July 28 strike, collecting a credit of $0.20. CHK rose 2.21 percent to $25.86.
