Largest option buying in equities so far

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Bank of America (BAC): Investors bought more than 28,000 January 7.50 calls for $0.09, looking for upside in the name. BAC fell 1.84 percent to $5.34.

Pfizer (PFE): Investors sold about 13,000 December 19 puts for $0.08 to $0.11, looking for the drug maker to hold its ground. PFE fell 0.15 percent to $20.04.

Amgen (AMGN): An investor sold 13,000 December 65 puts for $7.21 and bought an equal number of December 65 calls for calls for $0.05. Volume was below open interest, indicating that an existing bearish collar was closed. AMGN fell 0.24 percent to $57.77.
