IYR, QINC: Big ETF Outflows

Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the iShares U.S. Real Estate ETF ( IYR ), where 4,750,000 units were destroyed, or a 9.1% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of IYR, in morning trading today American Tower Corporation REIT ( AMT ) is up about 5.1%, and Simon Property Group ( SPG ) is higher by about 2.2%.

And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the First Trust RBA Quality Income ETF ( QINC ), which lost 500,000 of its units, representing a 31.2% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior. Among the largest underlying components of QINC, in morning trading today Intelsat ( I ) is down about 3.8%, and Infosys (INFY) is up by about 0.8%.
